I woked as a union organizer in North Dakota in the ’90’s, and was impressed with the openness and sound headed character of the people that I met. It was also a much more cosmopolitan place thanI expected. Particulary, Farge and Bismarck.
Much of the more rural areas do not know that the Great Depression ever ended.
