Wisconsin Electoral Map

Thanks to American Airlines and a unexpected overnight stay at O’Hare, I haven’t had a chance to deeply delve into the Badger State results.  But one thing struck me as particularly noteworthy: Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton by nearly 60,000 votes (!) in Milwaukee, a town that is about as blue-collar and beer-swigging as there is.  And isn’t Hillary supposed to have the inside track with the beer drinkers?

Here are some interesting maps on how Milwaukee voted in the recent primary.

First Democrats, Obama won almost 3-1 in the city but Hillary still won some blue collar white wards and Hispanic areas.

Republicans gave McCain a slight majority with Huckabee picking up support in some wards.
